This is the most complex connection method and thus we do not recommend to people without contacting support first.

The connection itself is simple if you know the IP address of the printer, but each printer brand requires its own custom app to connect it to internet and set a static IP. We can walk you through this configuration if you request it, but if your printer supports bluetooth we recommend you use that method instead.

If your store is experiencing issues with bluetooth, such as too much distance between printer and POS, then please contact us and we can get you setup to print over the network.

Sunmi branded printers support connections over bluetooth and wifi at the same time. So if you want to have something like your uber eats app using bluetooth, then we could set up network printing for the Sunmi device, and you will have both orders coming from the same printer

Anyway, if you know the static IP address of your printer, then you can follow these steps below.

Select network from the printer management panel

This will show two fields. The Host IP and the Port.

The IP address comes pre-filled with the first 3 parts, you should only need to input the last 3 digits.
