We support 2 payment methods with our Verifone customers

VCloud

This is a cloud based payment.

• You trigger a payment on the POS
• this sends a request to our server
• then we send that on to verifones server
• and finally verifone sends it to your payment terminal

This can be a slow process due to the multiple trips it has to make, and payment results have to do the same trip on the way back to the POS. For new customers to the platform, we recommend you go with VXLink for your connection instead. This is much faster and less can go wrong along the way

VXLink

VXLink works by connecting the payment terminal directly to the POS oer your WiFi network. This is a TCP/IP connection, but basically what that means is all communication is done directly between the POS and Terminal. This is the faster and recommended connection method

• The POS triggers a payment request and sends it directly to the terminal
• The terminal displays this request immediately
• The customer makes a payment
• The terminal confirms it with Verifone’s server
• The terminal sends it’s response immediately back to the POS
