This is referred to as a No Sale.

If you have your cash drawer connected to your printer, there are two ways to open the till

• Any cash sale will automatically pop the drawer
• Choosing No Sale from the actions menu

No sales can be found in the actions menu in the top right of POS

Then simply click No Sale

If you have a cash drawer plugged into your POS printer, and a printer connected to your POS, then click No Sale will now pop the drawer.
