Reburger Ordering Systems Setup
Note Setup each Kiosk or POS ordering systems one at a time.
Step 1. Unpack
Unpack and setup each device, keep each device with their designated Eftpos terminal, as they are uniquely linked with the device they were packed with.
Step 2. Power Up & Connect
Kiosk.
It is recommended to power up the Kiosk first as they have a 20-second window on bootup to access the settings. Once the device is on, access the settings, connecting the device to the in-store Wi-Fi.
Note if the device displays its unique device ID it has not established a stable connection to the Wi-Fi, attempt to reconnect.
POS
Enter the device settings to connect to the Wi-Fi. While in the settings connect any bluetooth printers under the ‘Connected devices’ tab in the settings.
Eftpos
Plug in each terminal, ensure Eftpos terminals are installed next to the device (POS or Kiosk) they were shipped with.
The Terminals may take a moment to power on. Once powered up unlock the device, which will require the daily pin. To Unlock the Eftpos terminal, select ‘Admin’ and enter the daily pin. Next swipe down to the bottom of the options menu and select ‘Android network’. Here you can select a network to connect to.
(This step if not required if setting up a static IP) Once connected, open the advanced tab on your selected network and note down the IP address.
Once Connect to a network it is recommended to follow the steps to setup a static IP. This will ensure a stable connection with Vxlink. Follow the “Static IP setup” page listed above.
Step 3. linking eftpos
Kiosk
The Eftpos terminals for the kiosk should automatically link once both Kiosk and Eftpos terminal is connected to the Wi-Fi.
POS
Link the Eftpos to the POS using Vxlink. this will require the IP address of the Eftpos terminal, if you have setup a static IP this will be the IP address ending in “1”. Otherwise, to find the IP address, unlock the Eftpos terminal and navigate to the network settings and find your connected network. Here you will be able to find the “advanced options” of the connected network. this will list the IP address.
Once all steps are completed, the ordering system setup is complete!
